What are questions that guys wishes a girl would ask them during a first date?

Besides the what do you do for work, how old you are, etc the basic questions.
What are some questions that would be mentally stimulating to ask a guy on a first date that'll make me seem more interesting than other girls and stand out as different?

The problem with when you're going on a date with someone you've JUST met, is that you're literally going out with someone, you don't even know. That's why they say the best relationships, start with being "just friends", first. But, please avoid the three topics of: religion, politics, and sex, as they are the three most trolling subjects in the world, and often starts arguments, which, if im on a first date, i don't want to be doing.

Questions are boring. I say you need just one question of any origin. You learn something about that person strike a convo from there. Any convo can lead to so many topics.

As for an actual question to stand out: legit ask him what you asked here (I’m not joking). It’s different (maybe reword it a bit to be more casual) quirky and can actually give you insight into who he is and what he likes.

Ask political questions for two reasons.
1. To see if you have compatible morals.
2. To then ask a follow up question of why they support something. For example, many people support a specific candidate, but know little to nothing about their actual policies. That will help you determine if they are ignorant and just check a box, or if they actually know what they vote for.

Where would they like to travel. Where do they see themselves in 5 years. What are their favorite books, songs, foods, drinks, cars, tv shows, and movies. What is their favorite holiday. What are their hobbies. Do they have a pet. What would they do if they won a huge lottery. What do they like and hate about their job. What's the craziest thing they've ever done. Do they like to cook. Ask then to tell you about their friends/family. What do they think about <insert latest top news story>.

I hate dating for this very reason, the questions and getting to know the other person (and don't really care to talk about myself either), so I don't know? lol For me, I don't think there is anything honestly. I wish we could just magically know each other without the hole dating process, so anything that skips that or gets us past that is great lol.
