The deeper questions. Trying to understand who I am as a person. My dreams, my fears, my insecurities, what makes me happy... everything. That's why I always start off a relationship with a game of 20 questions (although it's not really 20 questions... it's however many questions). It's just a good ice breaker and it doesn't have to be interview-like. It can be fun. Just talk normally. The questions are just conversation starters.

At the beginning being too deep can become invasive. As things progress obviously things should be shared especially when it gets serious, even serious enough where there is talks of marriage maybe even years after being married. It’s not good to hide things.

But. In the beginning you don’t even know if you’re going to be a couple. You don’t have to tell one another your darkest secrets. Get to know one another….

and some guys even suggested the same here like “just ask and i’ll be honest” … boring

A lot of people are bad at conversation first meeting someone. Men and women… A lot of people put too much pressure on both themselves and the other person.

Start naturally. First dates don’t have to be that deep. But if someone says ask me whatever…. They’re opening that door. Especially when they get angry when someone asks a question they don’t want to answer

Well at the end of the day what’s sensitive information is different for everyone. It’s just people can make casual conversation and see if they enjoy one another’s company.

A lot of people think thhere going to know what direction the relationship will go after the first date. Sometimes it takes a few dates to see if someone’s really right or not.

Obviously exceptions. There are people you connect with faster then others and people that you immediately just want to get the hell away from.

But most the time you just don’t know yet. If people allow things to progress naturally not too fast and not too slow.
