Likewise, if people are going to view women with a partner who they think is unattractive as "into his personality", might as well say the same for men.

Yes, it's a stupid double standard.

Women have personality and value outside of their physical appearance.

Men aren't inherently shallow or primitive and can be attracted by other things besides physical appearance.
