Depends how moved on I did
No, that wouldn't be moving on.
It was years ago so if I followed them, I wouldn't have moved on?
I could but I probably wouldn’t care to..
It doesn't make sense honestly unless you want to talk to them again
I mean, not necessarily. If there’s no bad blood and the falling out isn’t a recent thing, then why not follow them on social media? With all the follow suggestions that pop up on social media or “people you may know”, hitting that follow button can be so mindless.
Right this makes a lot of sense. If they reach out and you don't want to talk should you ignore them or tell them just that?
I guess that depends on who followed who. If they followed me then reached out, I wouldn’t feel so inclined to respond. However if I followed then they reached out to me, then in my mind there’s more of a need to say something back. In either case, there’s no obligation. If you followed the person mindlessly then it’s like ‘hey there’s no issue at all, but me following you wasn’t your cue to inbox me’.
