If I'm 5'5 can I get away with saying I'm 5'7?

At 5'5 I don't want to find out what happens if I openly admit being 5'5. 5'7 is only two inches, maybe if I use proper height increasing techniques in my shoes, I can get away with saying I'm 5'7?

Just for record I'm 5'1 and I'd think you too short for me. Sorry. My 12 year old daughter I'd 5ft 4 so it would be weird to me. And I like idea of putting my head on guys chest and feel protected. But that's my personal preference. You gotta keep trying. And shorter women will find you just fine.

Because I would have access to the women that are open to 5'7 instead of the ones that are open to 5'5, which is catastrophically miniscule as it is. I don't think my height should determine my dating options.

Telling women you're 5'7 is a whole less off putting to them than telling them you're 5'5. Their reaction would be different, and when it comes to men's height, literally every last centimeter counts.

Well obviously I'd love to be able to say I'm over 6 feet, but realistically it's easier to say I'm 5'7 than it is to say I'm 6'2. I just don't think I should struggle to find people to be interested in me solely on the basis of my height. That's fair, wouldn't you say?

That's the it's even remotely realistic to say that you are anything other than 5'5. Saying you're 5'7 is not different or any less a lie than say 6' or 6'2 or 8'4.
Not sure what you don't understand about how anyone 'interested in me solely on the basis of my height' probably isn't worth your time to begin with. So, no... I don't think it's fair to say.

I'm not trying to find people that would be solely interested in my height, even at 5'7 that would be nearly impossible. What I don't want to battle with are people that wouldn't be interested in me solely on my height. There's a higher chance that someone that would be uninterested in my height is worth more my time, than someone than would only be interested in my height.

Your height is your height. Being two inches taller isn't changing the narrative. There are PLENTY of women out there that don't give a rat's ass whether you're 5'5 or 6'5.

Since you can't change your height I wouldn't advise lying about it. Go for women who are shorter than you. Height is not everything. Women love a funny guy who has confidence, a great style and smells good. Use the gym to stay fit. There are so many things you can do apart from obsessing about your height.

Because those are the ones who usually won't have an issue with your height. As a short guy will be easier for you to find a woman who is shorter than you than taller or same height.

I'm certain some women don't mind a shorter guy than themselves. Some really tall women have little choice. But like with any preference, if you are looking in a small pool you gonna be searching a while. But doesn't mean you won't find what you looking for. Sounds like you actually want a taller than you woman. So just be confident and be open about your height and go for it.
