Because thems the rules of male-female interaction. People are so used to playing this game they get stuck on stupid and don't know how to turn it off even when they've found someone they like. The other person is still playing the game, which forces them to play the game back, which forces him to play the game back, which forces them to play the game back, etc.

What amazes me is that with so many games is that anybody is ever able to fall in love in the first place.

People play mind games usually because they are insecure, immature, or have a manipulative type of personality. They are not ready and mature enough to be in a stable relationship. Most of that stems from personal insecurities and the inability to trust and connect with another person in a healthy way.🤣🤣

Immaturity AND insecurity. People who play mind games typically don't believe they can "get the guy/girl" in a normal and straightforward way; they subconsciously don't believe they are worthy or good enough.

So they believe they have to play all these games to manipulate someone into liking them or keeping their interest.
