Would guys like a hand written poem sealed with a kiss?

No. I mean... yes... but no. Unless the guy in question is into poetry himself. If he's a decent dude then the effort you've put into it well mean far more to him then the poem itself.

So I think the better answer would be. If YOU feel like writing one for him. Then you should. I know there's a few notes or poems a girl has given me. And I kept those papers for years. Not cuz they were great but cuz must people wouldn't take the time for a guy.

So long story shortbI feel like most decent guys WOULD apritiate it, but not cuz they like poetry. (Though some might also like poetry)

I'd appreciate the thought and effort behind it but I never really understood most poetry, especially the emotional kind. I don't get the appeal of it. I prefer prose and even have a fondness sometimes for ornate prose.

What's ornate prose?

It's somewhat subjective (also referred to as purple or flowery prose) but it's prose that's often written rather extravagantly with loads of adjectives, adverbs, and/or figurative language. A blatantly excessive example:

An example many might consider ornate that I think is quite beautiful despite its extravagance and attention to its own writing style:
