@Daniela1982 Yes, that is EXACTLY the movie that I had in mind. It is a classic! It was originally a theatrical release and id was #1 in its first week of release but quickly fell off the radar. I love the social commentary in the film.

We were warned about AI in 1968 with Star Trek’s The Ultimate Computer.

We were warned again in 1982 with Tron.

And to a slightly lesser extent in 1990 with TaleSpin’s From Here to Machinery.

I’m sure there are plenty of other examples.

Yet do those with too much money and/or book smarts heed such warnings? I think we’ll just have to sit back and watch as their creation inevitably turns on them.
