He blocked me 4 months ago. Why am I still blocked?

What could be the reason? Not that I harassed or would send him messages. I'll leave him alone, but I'm still blocked. I'm just wondering why. We knew each other for about a year, and we were in love. We told each other many times that we loved each other and everything was fine.

At some point, he just distanced himself and then I decided that this was it, if he wasn't interested. I've told him many times before that we can go into different directions if he wasn't interested. However, he always said that he was interested. I was always the one who took the initiative.

Then I decided that it is over now for good and he blocked me. He didn't say anything about it at all.

This has been bothering me and I think about him often. When we couldn't talk things over, or even say goodbye.

Why am I still blocked?

"Why are we here"? Some questions are destined to go unanswered and you have to find meaning withing yourself. I learned a long time ago it's pointless to try to understand why some people do anything sometimes. Was it you? Was it him? You've made your attempts, now it's time to leave it alone and move on with your life. One irrefutable truth I've learned in all my years on this hunk of rock we call Earth. And that's that there are over 8 billion people on this planet. It's pointless to pine for anyone that's not even acknowledging you. Life is too short, and there too many OTHER wonderful people out there that can and will communicate.👍

He likely has fully moved on and really doesn't consider it important to unblock you. He also probably doesn't review his block list and remove anyone.

The internet is a funny place. In real life when two people decide it is over, they go their separate ways. The internet does not let this just happen. The way you get away from someone online is to block them. Why would you assume that He would ever unblock you?
