Whenever I go out with my Korean friend, we get double takes, and sometimes staring etc. Some women have came up to us saying we look "cute" together.
I see interracial couples often and it doesn't grab my attention, I just see a couple. What about you?
I’m latino, but I remember flirting with this black girl in a bar once. And all the white girls were staring at me. Like I don’t care, I like who I like. And my white friend would look at me weird when I said I liked black girls. There’s still some judgy people out there despite being in the modern world.
Thank you. Unfortunately, at the time I knew she liked me, but I was getting over another girl when I tried to talk to her. And I never got her number because of my sadness. And I regret it so much. She was so beautiful. And we instantly connected. I wished I would’ve gotten her number.
They do but in a pleasant and nice way to me, maybe because I'm also a child of an interracial couple. My wife and I are also kind of an interracial couple ourselves with me being half-white and her being full Asian. A lot of Japanese tend to ask her, "Where is your husband from?"
I like it. I think it's really nice to see ethnic and racial barriers break down this way. So I do tend to notice but I get happy each time.
I'm a bit sensitive to racial and ethnic prejudice being biracial, since I see it from both sides and don't really have that concept of "own race" or even a very clean idea of "own ethnicity/culture". I'm the perpetual outsider and not by my own choosing. So when I see interracial couples, it gives me some kind of hope in humanity.
It's like a society where that's so commonplace might be one where I can finally blend in.
For me I never notice….
If you tell me this 10 or 20 years ago, I might understand, but now it is really common to see interracial couples especially in USA. And yeah. Some of them are cute together♥️

I am married to someone outside my race myself. I am Indian, and my husband is white. When I see other interracial couples, I just thought of how happy they are, just like us.

Not necessarily. I live in a city so there are so many interracial couples it's not something that stands out.
You know what when I see interracial couples I see two people in love and I'm happy for them. So to answer your question it doesn't grab attention either, because after all they didn't do anything out of the ordinary all they did was fall in love and become a couple just like any other human couple.
I’m white and married to a black woman.
We get looks all the time. We get asked “are you together?” rather than “have you been helped?” while standing in businesses wearing matching clothes, shoes, etc 😆 people have their issues. Her and I even have code words when we want to leave a business or something is uncomfortable. It’s mostly baby boomers for most encounters.
One time we were walking around downtown and some Hoteps confronted us and had serious problems with me being with her. I was shocked but just kept walking. We get so many mixed reactions. It is what it is.
To answer your question I smile when I see other interracial couples because I know how it is and I’ve always been curious to what their experience is like too.
I live in a predominately white community so when I see it, it definitely catches my attention. That being said I love it and it’s so refreshing!!
Right and people may stare or look at you more but it’s not always a bad thing. Some may just admire the beauty of it all. I dated an Asian guy in high school and I never thought twice about it but I lived in a more diverse area back then.

For the most part no, living in Chicago while I don't see them Everytime I go out or anything I've seen them enough.. Now certain ones might catch my attention like a bit more than usual... Like anybody else besides "White" and "Black" couples.. Lmao.. Even "Latinos" and "Blacks" which surprisingly I don't see a lot of despite the fact that I interact with and am them all the time. Definitely "Black" and "Asian" especially if the girl is "Asian" and the guy "Black".. I've seen a bit of the opposite, but not much of that combo at all..

Not really, people in general tend to not grab my attention, crowds are just background noise to the thing I'm focusing on (in most cases where I'm around other people, this would be whatever I'm shopping for).
I couldn't tell you what anyone looked like, what they were wearing, who they were with. etc. for any of the outings I've been on. I just don't pay enough attention to notice those things.
