He just says that he’s trying to save money but even if i want to make a pie with him that isn’t very expensive he says no. He used to say yes to everything and now I have to push him he’s also the only person that I hang out with besides my fsmily.

You shouldn’t love someone that uses the excuse of saving to divert a relationship into doing nothing together
It’s really lame. Almost everything that I suggest to do and ask him if he wants to do it he almost always says no and doesn’t admit it.
Stop initiating and see what the relationship turns into
He initiates text. But hang outs and going out to eat he never makes plans unless it’s a holiday. To be fair though we are trying to save enough to move out and I always make new suggestions.
I get it, saving up is important but at the same time making memories to carry on is even more important.
