When does a man get excited to know how a woman he knows shops?

When I know she probably has a date with her boyfriend, in which case I'll often try to get her to let me come with her, and see what we can find that they'll both enjoy when they're spending that all important 'quality time' together. A lacy chemise or matching top and bottom lingerie outfit is an effective mood setter for their intimate evenings and weekends.

I got to know someone recently. And we got pretty comfortable with each other. His sister came along with us one day and she was asking how I shop and telling me how she shops. When I was telling them how I shop, this guy was getting excited to know more about the things i like. He just looked a little bit animated and excited with a smile... and I was just wondering WHYYY are you excited?

No idea. I think its not the difference.. But I didn't know that a guy gets interested to know how I shop. I have a brother and I haven't seen him like that.

But I just wanted to know if a man has ever gotten excited to know about a woman's shopping habits.

With the way I do it and the way most people I see do it at the grocery store, for example, I get the grocery cart if I am planning to buy a lot of stuff or just a basket otherwise. Then I dash through the store and I get what I want to get and put it in the cart or the basket. Then I pay for it at the register or these days they have the self checkout. I actually prefer the human service and don't mind waiting longer in line. Also I mainly pay in cash. I don't like to use cards when I can avoid it.
