Today he texted me some very cute things and later on, I asked him what he was doing and he texted me, he’s going to a coffee date…

I was going on a coffee date too this Wednesday but I turned down at the last moment, cause I was enjoying the talk with this guy.

Telling someone you're dating about some other date you're going on, or went on, even though you both agree that you're not exclusive, STILL sounds dumb as shit to me. So is telling someone "I went on a date last night, but I like you better". I liken it to telling your long time hair stylist, while she's cutting your hair, "I'm going to try this new person next time who's $3 cheaper than you are".
