What’s a sign in the beginning that a relationship will last?

Coming out of a 2 year relationship where i missed a lot of signs along the way that many people picked up saying she wasn’t as invested. So part of me really wants to be patient take my time and really evaluate the next girl if there is one because I don’t want to waste more years thinking a girls fully invested and get played again

- She makes an effort to get to know your friends and family. Wants you to meet her people too. Shows she cares about that whole part of your life.

Their willingness to swallow their pride/ego to compromise, they don’t always take from you but they also put in the same effort to give back to you, they’re no longer in contact with their exes. To me it usually shows a lot during an argument, they way they react and how they treat you when they’re pissed and how the two of you end up coming to a solution together is the ultimate litmus test.

Yeah she was none of that constantly called me a bitch, nuisance she physically hit me twice and was mainly a taker there was no compromise it was her way or she would have a temper tantrum over time I felt myself going along with things simply so there wasn’t an argument
