My sister is also high functioning like you and I've noticed autism is much harder to find in girls because they tend to mask it as to why your partners never believing you.
I think its something you should tell your partner once you've gotten to know each other better but in the the case of hookups no that's not there business. If they don't like you after showing them your ture self then they ain't the one and you've done nothing wrong

If I tell your boss you're harassing me on this site, you will either get fired or face yet another humiliation at work.
There is nothing wrong with you telling them, if I was trying to want to be in a relationship with someone I would appreciate knowing but it's her choice when she says it. But on the hookup part, I'm not a fan of them honestly but even without that I see no reason to tell a guy if you just want a hookup.
Better to be open about it, most know high functioning autistic people just tend to be a bit more enthusiastic in a niche and it can be a mechanic to use to be able to have a more normal conversation. At least to start.
One of my close friends is high functioning and he's just a little eccentric.
