I have never used those hook up applications or sites and thus, I cannot judge. However, from what I read and here on GaG, they are more of a nonsense and have a very negative connotation because they don't achieve what they claim to do.

I have been told that they cost an arm and a leg and that most people that use them are not actually looking for a date but more a place where fornication is the rule rather than the exception.

I feel sorry for all those that truly believe that they can find a long lasting and serious relationship but find nothing more than fake profiles that are out there to get as much money as possible from those desperate people.

So many negative mindsets here about dating apps lol. I’ll be devils advocate 🙃😂. Dating apps def work for some and not for others. I know people who are now married cuz of it. Everyone has their own experiences. I do like them to be open what’s out there locally, met new attractive/nice people, and went on dates with mostly good experiences and potentials. But I also don’t like them because most forget to cherish who they have infront of them cuz too many options and judgement.. so authenticity can be lacking and not a lot are looking for relationships.

Never used one and don't plan on it. Never heard any real good experiences come out of them.
