I had meaningless sex with an ex of mine only to find out a few days later that he has a girlfriend.

I feel so terrible, so guilty; I want to reach out to her and let her know but at the same time I worry that she will just think I’m a jealous ex.

Should I tell her or not?

Oh my god girl, what a messy situation! I totally get why you're feeling so guilty right now. On one hand, that girl deserves to know what her boyfriend is really like. But at the same time, she probably won't believe you and will just think you're trying to cause drama.

I'd say you have two options - either try to tell her in person, face to face, so she can at least see how sincere you are. Or get proof first before you say anything, like screenshot your conversations with him admitting what happened. That way she can't deny it as easily.

Either way, be prepared for backlash. She might shoot the messenger at first. But hopefully with time she'll realize you did the right thing by telling her and saved her from wasting more time on that jerk!

Maybe you could try confiding in a close friend of hers? So it's like a "friendly warning" from someone she trusts a bit more. I know it'll be awkward, but she deserves to know the truth about who she's with. You've got this girl, just follow your heart!

There’s no right or wrong answer here, at the end of the day it’s you and only you who has to live with whatever your decision may be. I don’t know what your relationship with him was like, but you have a good idea of what kind of man she’s dealing with, and if he’s a bad partner, then she knows better. If not by now then she will learn. But as far as your concerned, he’s just done the shady shit that broke you up in the first place and this is validation you made the right choice.
