Is it inappropriate to approach a random girl at a concert?

The hall was overcrowded so we pushed against each other. She was with her friends and I was not sure if she wanted to be bothered by a random, older guy. She looked really young. I don't mind that I missed my shot with her, but I'm single and I need some feminine presence.

I went to a concert at a club in Los Angeles when I was about 30. Right now I can't remember which club or who the band was, but it was somebody really good.

The place was packed. All of a sudden some girl came up and asked if she could sit on my shoulders. I bent down, she climbed on, and I put my hands on her ass while bouncing up and down and rocking out.

Afterwards, she was really friendly, smiled and said thanks. I was with friends or I would have asked if she needed a ride home.
