Guy, why would he date me if I’m a plus size girl, but I know he doesn’t like big girls?

I’ve lost 60 lbs since several months ago. I’m now a size 18 in pants and I’m 5’10. He does randomly stare at me and will tell me how “so pretty” I am and such…however, I know for a fact he does not like big girls. I met him on Bumble and he deactivated his account after a week of seeing me and then deleted it all together after a month and we are now into 3.5 months of seeing one another and have actually now said we love one another. He’s a fit guy and I just recently got into Crossfit and working out a lot more and he says he’s attracted to the “effort”, but can that actually really be enough for a guy even when a girl doesn’t have the ideal body he truly wants. I know I’m insecure and I’m working on a lot of self love (even before I met him). I know he could date have dated any fit woman he wanted. Maybe I’m just in my head because I want to feel great in my body and be this perfect dream girl to him.

Do you think it’s an issue though if I’ve seen some of comments about overweight girls? Granted he also use to be an overweight guy himself. Is it worth it to bring it up to him how I have seen a few of his comments about overweight girls? It just makes me feel bad about myself and again question how can he find me physically appealing to be with and love…

I was overweight for a long time too. Do Not feel Ashamed. You are doing your best! And you have to love yourself and forgive yourself! Dont do it for anyone else but you. So you can feel better and confident and know you look good. You can do it. But it's not easy. Especially when your first starting out.
