It's morning, so I have my typical daily news emails and several ad and spam emails that I just delete.

I once did a simple social experiment with my profile on PoF. I left the body of the profile exactly the same and changed the photo to that of a very attractive man. I got way more responses. I even had a couple of women i’d contacted previously say that they didn’t remember me contacting them but i was still in their messages “for some reason”. A disappointing number of the lot had “looks don’t matter to me” or something of the like in their profiles.
You know how there’s a difference between knowing something to be true and then actually seeing it for yourself? It kind of changes you. That was the most interaction i’ve ever had with women online, and i haven’t been the same since! Ell oh ell!

I went to a site, a dating site... and did introduce my basic data and profile, for the fun of it

and while I was taking my time to check the site and put more detailed info about me, the messages started to ring... that there were people in my area intrigued, lmao

and I just cancelled the account right away, because I was just playing around and not being serious
