I was seeing a guy for 2 years but my problem is he never wanted to commit to being in a relationship with me and kept saying he couldn't see our future together because of cultural differences and the stages of life.
There's an 11 year age gap. If he knew this to begin with, why even entertain dating me and being with me for so long?
This guy has also ended things every other weekend but continues to contact me and call me as if nothing has happened. He also retracts things he's said and gaslights me. He barely ever recalls what he's said and tries to make out like 'I've known all along where I stand' if I met him on date 1 and he said stage of life was an issue, I'd be gone. Dame with 7 months down the line. I feel like I've been blindighted by him and now he's playing the 'well I told you' line.

Omg girl, I am so annoyed for you! That guy totally played you and wasted your time. Who does something for 2 years and then hits you with the "culture differences" and "life stages" BS? Like he knew that from the jump.

It's so obvious he just wanted to keep you on the hook without any real commitment. And now he's gaslighting you and backtracking like you're the crazy one? Uh uh, not in my book sis. That is manipulation 101.

You deserve someone who knows for sure they want you from day 1. Not this on-again off-again hot-and-cold mess. Please don't let him make you question yourself either - you did nothing wrong by falling for his lies.

My advice? Block him on everything and don't look back! You're so much better than being an option for some dude who can't make up his mind. Hold your head high - this is HIS failure, not yours. I'm here for you if you need a girls' night or someone to virtually smack some sense into him! 😤

You should have left him the moment you realized he was never going to commit. He took you for granted and knows you will always allow him to come back because that's what you always did. Unless you cut all forms of contact and block him everywhere he will keep behaving the same way and you'll jus keep wasting your time.
