Should I tell her how I feel before she leaves?

So l met this girl at my job a month ago and we basically instantly hit it off. So much in common and we always have things to talk about. Thing is she quit the job because she has a wfh job and it gives her the opportunity to travel months at a time. She'll be gone until July 🤦🏾‍♂️ Before she left she asked for my number so we could hang out and get to know each other after more. She's very.. Grounded and one with nature so we went on two separate long walks on these very scenic trails and we just talked and vibed the entire time.

I fucked up because being the inexperienced person I am, I never went in for a kiss or expressed to her how i feel. I guess because we only hung out twice. But I assumed of a women asks for your number, there's kind of interest there.

Feel like it might her be a waste of time at this point and that I probably missed this opportunity since she leaves in 2 days and won't be back until July, she'll be super busy. I just don't want things to be awkward.

Would it be worth telling her now through text or call and seeing her reaction? This is lame I know lol, but here we are. I won't be able to see her because she leaves in 2 days

Well, that’s certainly a dilemma. Perhaps maintain a casual text/call thing while you’re apart and, when the right moment presents itself, let her know you’d like to have a coffee date with her when she gets back.


(I say coffee date bc that’s what my gen used to do… you can do smoothies or drinks or whatever you’re both into.)

Middle of July. I guess my fear is that she only sees me as a good friend. And if that's what she wants I don't want to potentially make it awkward or weird for her, you know? Yesterday was the perfect time for me say something but I bitched out 😂

Was just gonna say something simple like You can "hey, I know that you leave on Friday and in case we shouldn’t be able to meet beforehand, I want you to know that I really enjoy spending time with you. Would you be interested in staying in contact while you are overseas?" Something of that sort
