I need an opinion on this situation…?

My boyfriend is going away and I have only been able to see him twice in the past two weeks because I have been sick. He came over last night and we had a great time and I asked if this was the last time I would be seeing him before he leaves in a couple days. He responded with “I will make time to see you before I leave no matter how busy, I will always make time for you.” Now, it’s the night before he leaves and he’s sending me a whole bunch of instagram reels so he’s obviously not busy and we didn’t see each other. Should I be mad about this?

Hmm yeah girl, I would be kinda annoyed in your shoes. A few thoughts:

- He directly said he'd make time for you before leaving, no matter what. Sending you reels instead of following through breaks that promise.

- You guys barely got to see each other cause of your sickness. Least he could do is squeeze in one last visit.

- If he wasn't actually busy, there's no good excuse. Just seems kinda inconsiderate of how you're feeling.

- I'd call him out politely but be like "hey, I thought we agreed to meet up before your trip? kind of a bummer to be sitting here alone while you're online..."

- See how he responds. If he blows it off or makes excuses, that's lame of him. He should own up to not following through.

Don't get too mad just yet - give him a chance to explain. But stand up for yourself girl! You deserve someone who shows you they care, not just says it. His actions aren't matching his words here.
