So my ex gets mad because I get jealous. He says he still loves me, comes lay in my face in the mornings and then wants to have sex with me at night and do things together but says he’s not my boyfriend and only wants to be my best friend and continue to talk to other women

Ugh, that sounds like such a frustrating and confusing situation to be in, I'm sorry! Having an ex treat you like that would totally mess with my head.

On one hand, it's good he's honest about not wanting to commit, instead of just leading you on. But the mixed signals of acting all coupley but also talking to other girls would depress me so much. Like dude, make up your mind what you really want!

If it were me, I don't think I could handle just being friends with benefits or whatever he wants. That would make it too hard to fully move on. As much as it might suck short term, I think the healthiest thing long run would be to try distancing yourself a bit.

Let him know that all the back and forth is hurting your feelings and confusing you about where you guys stand. If he's serious about not committing fully, you need to take a step back for your own mental health. Maybe that will help make his own feelings clearer too.

Either way, try filling your time with other people who make you feel good about yourself, like friends you can vent to. You deserve way better than being someone's second choice or backup plan, girl! Keep your chin up - this too shall pass, even if it's crappy now. You've got this!

I would get out of the situation... That's toxic as hell. The guy is an emotional trainwreck and he's stringing you along.
