What would you do if you were in this situation?

I’ve lost a lot of trust in my partner, I question if he’s cheating because I don’t understand his reaction to my concerns and I find it hard to believe these are coincidental with the reassurance he’s given me. He would be hot and cold for a while so I went against my morals and looked at his phone he left in the car with me I ask him a question and he pretty much admitted to leaving the phone in the car knowing he has nothing to hide, yet his messenger was hidden and he was logged out of Facebook which is very rare, he said I assumed you would go through it because I have once before out of lack of communication and concern for my health. I later checked his messenger when it was back on to find he had deleted messages with a girl he’d been talking to and there was no relationship status which I had asked him if he had and he responded saying he rarely goes on Facebook which isn’t true at all.6 months later he still didn’t put a relationship status on until after we went to therapy, Guys is there a way these could all be coincidences or is there definitely something going on? These are the only red flags.

Even you already know outcome of this... You are finding clues everywhere about this strange behaviour. Even if you didn't there is much of insecurity in your relationship which is getting you in big overthinking zone, I think every relationship with this issue is doomed and don't have some bright future.

How do you know that he regularly checks fb?

I see him on it all the time like it’s his only social media he keeps on his phone even tho he has insta and snap, it’s even hard for me to get his attention sometimes.

I don't know. Sometimes lack of trust gives us unnecessary doubts which will ruin the relationship.

I would suggest you to stop assuming things and communicate your doubts and concerns.

I have and his response is just you need to trust me, but it’s a cheaters job to trick you so that’s a hard thing to just hear and have to live by after something sketchy like this, he won’t let me see his messages if I were to ask him on the spot he reaction would be explosive
