im studying for a huge test but started talking to this guy who dm'd me on insta a day ago. we really clicked. I told him i need to focus on my test but can talk after. He said he'd wait for me. before i told him i need to focus on my test he be going really fast telling me we should talk on the phone and meet each other.

Wait so he was trying to move real quick with the phone calls and meet ups, but then when you said you had to focus on your test he suddenly agreed to wait 3 months? Girl that does not sound right at all.

A couple red flags here - he was rushing way too fast from the jump, trying to isolate you before you even got a chance to know him. And then he did a total 180 as soon as it was clear he wasn't getting what he wanted right away.

These types usually say anything to keep you on the line, but have no plans to actually stick around that long. I'd bet money that within a few weeks tops he'll be hitting you up like "what's taking so long?" or finding excuses to push the blame back on you.

Don't fall for it! This guy clearly doesn't respect your boundaries. You don't owe anyone your time before you're ready. Block and delete - don't waste mental energy waiting for some dude who already showed you who he is. Find someone worth your energy, sis!

I mean.. I understand how important studying is, and what it means to want to pass it. But even with your studies, surely you can spare a couple of minutes a day to talk?
