Is 3 months a long time to wait for someone?

My fiancé is in the military and he's gonna be away for three months before we get married. I'm nervous that he'd lose feelings for me or I'd lose feelings for him. 3 months seems so long away and I don't know how I'll be able to spend an entire summer without the love of my life. I know that when he gets back, he'll probably be all over me but I can't be patient. What should I do?

You simply need to play long distance for 3 months.

It's hard at times, but the emotional contact will still be there. Yes, you'll miss him, but honestly i'd b more worried if you didn't worry about missing him. Because missing him like that shows just how much you love him and need him!
Cherish in that, knowing that missing him shows how deeply you love him, and as long as you miss him you can be 100% sure the love till burns brightly.

Other than that, use the medias mentioned above. Videochat with him, leave eachother cute messages to wake up to, flirt over text, do couple things. This isn't a break from all the lovey dovey stuff, it simply just means you need to find new ways to be lovey dovey.
Be romantic, be flirty, be cheeky... you can still do all that in a 3 month long distance!

And yes, he'll be all over you when he gets back, so better stock up on protection ^^

I didn't. I was too in love and naive. I know that 3 months isn't a lifetime but it'll feel like it.

Most military bases have support groups for people whose so is on deployment. Millions of others manage it

I don't think three months will be bad. Write letters and send him care packages. If he can use his phone, talk.
Keep the letters happy. Don't keep saying "I'm so miserable with out you. I miss you so much." Because he probably doesn't want to hear how sad you are without him because it'll make him sad. Write him a letter everyday. He will crave to know about your every day life.
Keep yourself busy! Take up a hobby, exercise and focus on school. Time will fly by so much faster. If you mope around and be sad all the time, days will feel like they drag on.

You will miss him. But you love him more than you will miss him. This will make your relationship so much stronger.

There is a forum website called militarysos. com where you can get support from military wives and girlfriends.
There is also a YouTube channel I like. They're called DiamondsOnDeck. They do military videos, because they are both military wives and answer questions and make videos about frequently asked questions related to being a military significant other. (They are a beauty channel, so just go through their video playlists if you wanna check them out!)

Seriously, you might want to think it over with this marriage thing. The question in itself shows you are having doubts. Or just not ready to marry a military man. My guess is that he will be away a lot every now and then. So think about it, also when you have kids. You'll be doing it all on your own.

It's not that. I just can't imagine even being away from for a day. It's going to be hard. We'll keep contact but 3 months of sleeping alone is gonna be torture.

Mostly afraid that id be used to being alone. I wrote that the wrong way and I didn't actually mean that. It's just so routine seeing him everyday and night that being away for sometime, I'll get used to the space between us.
