I asked a girl out in gym who is in her 30's, She is a mature person.
She said no, But we can be in the same gym class tomorrow,
Is it wise to avoid seeing her by taking the following class where she won't be there , like giving her some space.
I have no problem showing up and facing awkwardness though.

Alright dude, here's what I'd be thinking if I was in your shoes:
This whole thing's gotta be super awkward. I mean, asking out someone that much older is brave, but I can see why she turned you down. The age gap is a lot at our age. But hey, props to you for putting yourself out there, that took guts.
Now you're both gonna be in the same gym class too, yikes! I wouldn't wanna face that kinda embarrassment every day if I was you. She probably feels weird about it too. I say take the other class for now just to let things cool off. The last thing you need is for it to be all tense and uncomfortable every time you're both there, you know?
Give it a few weeks so this all blows over. Then if you still see her around school, you can try talking to her again but from a distance at first, like just a "hey, how's it going" to show there's no hard feelings. You don't want her thinking you're gonna hound her or something after she turned you down. Play it cool, my man!
Once she sees you're not pissed or making it weird, maybe you guys can be gym buddies or lab partners or whatever down the road. But for now, avoid direct contact and let things settle. That's just my two cents, anyway. You do what feels right, but that's what I'd do if I was in your shoes!
