so I have met this guy online and he seems pretty cool. So far. We have never met in person but we talk a lot while we can. The thing is we are supposed to meet up but he is very clingy and I’m very concerned about that. He will literally text me every day. ask what are you doing? Etc. and he will text even if I don’t respond. We were talking about how we haven’t had any affection with anyone for a while. So it would be good to meet and hang out. But he keeps talking about cuddling this and that. I don’t Mind a hook up, but should I feel worried that he is already clinging before? Imagining after….. yikes I’m still thinking about that. How would you feel? I feel like I hope he won’t be clingy afterwards

I, know exactly how you feel, because I've been in that situation, from both sides' perspective, the one whes more interested, and the one who's less, confident that there's little chance of it lasting a day or two. As the more motivated person, which is usually the guy's interest increases as his energy and patience begin to wane, at some point, the other party, having been compelled to make a crucial decision that they weren't necessarily ready to make, feels pressured to do anyway because the stakes have risen steadily as resources dwindled, instead of making this briskly clear, which can admittedly be a. stressful thing to deal with, they, just end the conversation, leaving person number one on standby, waiting for the expected reply to their previous communicado. You're never going to look good under those circumstances, but when you're left hanging, you do the best you can.

If you don't like his "clingy" temperament then why are you still talking with him? Don't get his hopes up if you're just going to dump him for being clingy.
