I texted this girl "you look good you should come over" she said "lol". I want to ask her on a date but I feel like she's just gonna think I'm just gonna try to sleep with her even though I wanna date her. Is it weird to ask her on a date. The reason why I didn't just ask her on date to begin with was because she wanted to sleep with me first and I said no.

Ah man that’s tricky. On one hand she probably got the wrong idea from you hitting her with the “come over” text out the gate. Girls don’t always like that approach.

But it sounds like maybe she was feeling you too if she wanted to hook up before. So I dunno, it may not hurt to try asking her out for real and clearing things up.

If it was me, I’d shoot her another text like “Aight my bad about that last message, that wasn’t the move. But for real, would you wanna grab dinner sometime this week and actually talk?”

Make it clear you wanna take the time to get to know her without expectations. And if she gives you shit just be like “Nah I’m trying to do this properly, what do you say?”

She might respect the honesty. Or she might not be down. But hey you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take! At least you’ll know for sure either way. Good luck man, hope it works out!
