Does anyone else use dating sites but also sort of prefer the idea of meeting someone organically?

I dunno.. there's women you'll meet in person who you wouldn't on these sites.. It just makes it easier I guess, like a marketplace.

I just want someone special and to be special to someone. I don’t really use apps because i feel like most of girls on there don’t really want to do anything outside of talking on the app. Which is fine, I guess, just wish they’d just say that. I feel like it’s better, for me at least, to talk in person. But I guess I’m not really good at that either since I’m still single :/ I try not to use the apps but man i really just want someone special for once in my life 🙄

I would prefer to meet someone in person based off past experiences.

But, honestly, regardless of whether it is online, or in person, dating and meeting a woman is just not easy. And if u meet someone, it maybe won't last long... sorry, just being honest.

At least above a 5 in looks, a man with his own house, car and money. Somewhat in shape. Maybe average build but that's what I'm into and yes I have my own as well

I enjoy the convenience of it.

You can swipe match chat while doing other stuff with your day and only make time for a date.

But I 100% prefer the idea of bumping into someone and having lightning striking.
Problem is waiting for that could be years if not decades or even eternally.

When it comes to dating and relationships you do need some proactivity and the idea of trying to pickup a stranger feels a little bit sleezy.

Even though I've done it successfully before while remaining a normal dude.

I used dating sites for 12 years (2012-2024) from ages 18-30 that i am now and I went on 1 "date" where I got stood up locally, and that was maybe 2-4l5 years ago, and I for one never had any luck (if you call it that) on apps or real life. On the plus side, I've had more time for me all the years and ongoing :)

I used dating sites to meet my wife, and probably would again in the unlikely event that I become single, but I would also look organically, asking my friends if they have friends who might be interested.

I no longer use dating sites. This so-called dating sites filled by tons of scammers. Trust nobody on dating sites and here.
