Is this guy a red flag?

I met this guy a few weeks ago at church and we’ve been talking a lot lately. We’ve met in person but never on an actual date. He asked to go out on a date to eat but I’ve told him that I’m not even hungry. Now he’s asking to come over to my place. Is this considered a red flag?

Going to someone’s place as a first date is always a red flag. I wouldn’t let anyone in my house that I don’t know/tryst trust and I wouldn’t go to this house either while I don’t know him well.

It's a little early for you to have him over. I would stick with the public places for a few dates at least till you know he's a decent gent.

Maybe, I would talk to him longer and find out more about him.
