Is this a red flag about this guy?

I started texting with a guy who supposedly is in the military. We have not known in person yet as we both live in different cities, so I started to go slow just to check if this guy is worth a shot to keep exchanging messages to him or not. We first met on IG exchanign messasges there and from there he sent me 3 photos of himself : One in a military t shirt and cap from the gym and the other two with normal shirt from the neck up. In 2 of those photos you can slightly see he has an arm tattoo. Like I said we were just starting texting like 4 weeks ago. The guy like when I text him and he always ask me about what Im doing in the day he had asked me things about myself, you know normal usual stuff. He told me he is 49 but for the pics I saw of him he seem like a guy in his 40 or mid 30, his face is a baby face. He told me he is a single dad and the small son lives with the mother. He said he was interested in continue exchanign messages with me and want to get to know me better. That is why after starting and exchanging from IG we move to Whatassp and we exchange phone numbers.

He is currently in Afghanistan, that is what he told me and the reason he told me that is to let me know that there could be hours he can't text me cause he is in the mission working but still he can shot me a messages from now and then. He told me I can still text and he sees in what moment he can respond.

Anyway since he is supposedly in the army or military, he says there are things he can't share with me because it is confidential due to the matter he is in the military and information is sensitive. So that is one thing I lets say do not like so much cause if that is true, there will be many things from him I won't know about, as he may be lying just for the fact being in the army implies do not share information or things with ordinary people.

Today I asked him about his arm tattoe and ask him if he could send me a photo of his tattoo.

I ask him about the meaning behind it and he just said it is of a Egyptian sign of armor I ask him if the ink was big and he just said they are tiny. I mean that is not possible because the one I saw in his arm was not tiny, one first lie here or he misunderstood my question. Then I ask him that I hope some day he can send me a picture of the tattoo he responded to me: "I can't show them off, there is a secret behind it and it is personal". supposedly in the arm and he said No, Then out of the blue he asked me to send him a photo of my boobs, he was testing me if I would send him a photo like that and I replied to him: "No I won't". So he replied: "See the same happen with my tattoo is private" then he replied to me "When I tell you something is private I dont need you to question my authority about that" . So for that answer the guy were never clear to me from teh get go about the ink and the ink maybe were on his genitals not on

Find someone in your city who can spend in person time with you and doesn’t get defensive about things like tattoos. If it was a secret then it wouldn’t be on his arm where everyone can see it lol. This sounds sketchy. He also seems like he has a temper. I would let this guy go. Delete.

I never knew he had otehr tattos maybe on his private parts he never told me about he misunderstood that I meant his arm tatt with possible the other tats. But like he told me when we start exchanging messags being in the army he is not able to share a lot of info or things about his private life. I’m telling you this sounds sketchy and I don’t see this man being future material. Regardless where the tat is I don’t think it matters. Did he send you a pic of his genitals? If he did not then he obviously knew you were referring to a different tattoo and I feel like he’s bullshitting you about the military. If this guy asks you for money one day do NOT do it. And his temper alone should be a bad enough sign to delete him. Don’t make excuses for this guy. You deserve better. How can you even date someone whose overseas anyways and can’t be honest with you about stuff or even text you like a normal person.

Guy sounds like he wants to control you saying not to question his authority. Also i wouldn't fk with that, had some guy also in the army and used to send me videos of romance music saying how much he loved me.

Im not familiar about military rules for the soldiers what they can share or not on their personal devices or that is risky. I mean I would had understand if he from the beginning tol me that his tattos were on his private parts and of course I would not ask him to sen dme any photos, but he either do not understand taht I did not even know taht or he confuse an arm for a private part. I wqas asking him to show me the ink of his arm, the same tat I slightly saw on a picture I saw of him like 2 weeks ago. That was the tat I was talking about, but then he told me it was personal and private and he could not show, taht is where he got all confused and assume I was talking about his private parts and the 2 tiny tats he had there. I am with some others here. Find someone closer to where you live. The guy you are dealing with might have 20 other women he's flirting with whom he is asking for photos of parts of their anatomy. You deserve better than that.

I mean he sent me 3 photos of him first and on his IG his name is on it. one photo you can slighty see the tatt on his arm. Then 2 days ago he sent me anotehr photo of him wearing soldier uniform inisde a car. But now he got all sensitive and touchy just beause I asked him to send me the arm tattoo. As he said it is personal and private. He really did not understand me that I was asking a photo of his arm tatto, nothing bad about it but he confuse things along the conversation and he told me he had 2 tiny tatos he wotn share and he thought those were I was asking abou. I did not even know he had other tatos he never told me or never explain me I just though t the arm ink that is all. But I guess since he said he had 2 tiny ones and he won't share I beleive that maybe those tats are on his private pars the reason he can't never share those to anyone hence the privacy about it.
