Do I get him a gift and if so any suggestions?

I met a guy while he was vacationing in my city, and have spoken to for a month, and we have spoken every single day without fail. Visited again recently, we have really good chemistry and our talk never end and are never boring we both agree on this and when he was here the whole visit went really well. His birthday is coming up and by then, if we continue talking and having such a nice time getting to know each other it will be more than 2 months, maybe close to 2.5 months pf talking. We never discussed that we were dating or anything but while he was here he told me he liked me and so did I, i basically heard a confession from him of how much he likes me, and how well our conversations go and also how im the only person he constantly keeps texting and chatting with when he doesn’t even do that with people he is close to like friends or family (ofc i understand that the situation is the way that it is is influencing this, but i also pretty much know his whole schedule and i know that this is true) Safe to say thus far we are doing great. Question is under these circumstances and us staying in different countries do I get him a small smth delivered to his place or not? And if you think the answer is yes what would you suggest?

Before he left i came him a smol teddy bear with my perfume on it and he has already told me he really likes a couple of times, ans also that he felt regretful of not doing or giving me smth similar. But he came all the way to my country and city again so i felt things were “even” if you say that.

would it be too much to have smth from within his country sent to him? The postal service in my country isn’t the best so i wouldn’t trust smth from here to get delivered to him. I don’t wanna do too much, or be too much by doing so. by the way this is the first guy i get more close and vulnerable with and he has had a lot of other dating experience.

Hey a late update but an update nonetheless, i ended up sending a heartfelt letter with my perfume sprayed on it and a small hand drawing/painting of mussles 😂 bc he loved them and was supper excited to start eating them again with the summer season coming up. Unfortunately, we had a falling out before he got the letter and he texted me about it when he got and ye he appreciated it very much and wanted to start talking again. But i had seen too many red flags by that point in his behaviour so i had to end it. The short version, of how it ended.

But it needs to be personalised by yourself , example the bear ( or a new small one ) wearing your scent on a silk scalf , or an item of clothing , in same vein , keep it all personalised , that's the key.
