Gift ideas to give him?

I need of some ideas for a good gift to get a guy for Christmas.

I'm terrible at gift giving and have no idea on what would be a unique but thoughtful gift.

Our situation is a little complicated but we're both on the same page and I (27) just need help with getting him (29) something nice.

We were romantically involved for 3 years and have recently decided to take a break from the relationship and reevaluate out values to see if we want a more commited future together (marriage/kids etc.) We're both still involved in each other's lives and talk everyday, neither of us has anyone to spend Christmas with so we've decided to spend it together and still get each other gifts. I just need some advice on what some appropriate presents could be.

He likes, video games, Pokemon, anime, sports, working out and bring creative.

Well there you go, has he mentioned any games he wants? If it's an online game you could always get him game currency, could never go wrong with that

If he likes pokemon, maybe get him his favorite pokemon but like some sort of collectable figure. Or get him a poke ball that'd be cool

If he likes sports you can't go wrong with sports gear

Working out could get him something simple like protein shake power, hmmm. Workout gloves if he uses them,. Being creative is too general I have no idea what to say for that and anime I got no idea about that I don't watch Any
