Why are most young men single but most young women are not? Are women’s standards too high? Is it MeToo? What’s going on?

Many young women are single too. By choice, because nobody is good enough for them. And they reject the sigle guys, who are single involuntarily. Or maybe by choice because they don’t date obese women or whores.

That’s what I meant, not that there are no guys who aren’t a good match. But the loveliest women are not single. Those women who have ridiculous standards and reject everyone are not necessarily the best women, but their standards make men think they are more valuable.

A lot of girls are single as well because they are extremely shallow. The “I only date men over 6’ “ Crowd always have the nastiest attitudes and are undesirable. I’m a girl, 21 years old, prefers men under 5’10 and I am dating a very handsome 5’9 guy who treats me well! A lot of girls around my age are just immature and care more about status than dating a man who will actually treat them right.

Yeah he is average height but my ex was 5’2 and I liked that we were the same height! The only reason I say 5’9 would be the tallest id date is because of my boyfriend lol and he’s the same height as my mom so it’s still really comfortable to hug and kiss him versus if I ever dated a guy over 6’. Unpopular opinion but I’d rather date a man with dwarfism than a giant.. I actually am not turned off my men that small but I don’t find myself attracted to really big men. I think Peter Dinklage is really hot.. way hotter than 99% of basketball players in the nba! What a handsome little guy!

Haha I think there actually are. I was just talking to a friend of mine who has a similar type to me and she also said she likes guys around her height! We are both 5’2”!! I don’t trust the study from dating apps tbh just because people troll and even catfish a lot. Plus the 90% of women on these dating apps do not account for 90% of the worlds female population. Also realize that the sample size from these studies are less than 500.. that’s not nearly enough of the female population to stereotype and generalize based off of. Plus I actually see women with short men ALL OF THE TIME!! The men are always between 3-7 inches taller than the girl, which is normal considering men are biologically taller than women generally. I’ve also seen a lot of couples where the woman is taller! The internet brings out the worst in people.

@Nikki29B the problem is out of principle I refuse to date a woman who would not date a man shorter than them…even if only an inch…so while I don’t need to date a woman taller than me…if she is 5’2” but would not date a 5’1” guy, can’t do it…

That’s not young… over 25 they’re probably tired of the guys their age dragging their feet and dating around while they want to settle down… so 25-35 is a marriage bracket where they’re probably looking to older guys (or mature guys willing to settle down).

@DishLady I wouldn’t say not wanting to get married means they are dicking around…marriage is a big commitment, since it usually comes with kids which cost a lot of money and time, and if you get divorced it can be very expensive for the man since women usually get custody meaning the man has to pay monthly child support, which usually is a higher number than is actually necessary to take care of the kid…so for me personally, I’m not getting married without a prenup

As far as I know, homosexual women are more likely to admit their relationships publicly than homosexual men. But I think you are right.
