If I don't ask questions about him would he think I am not interested?

This guy asks me questions that I think he is trying to get to know me. We are not dating or anything. I answer his questions but most of the time, I don't ask about him even though I am interested in him.

Think about a relationship (friendly or loving) as a plant that needs some care: watering, fead leaves cutting and fertilising soil.
Let’s say he is in charge of leave cutting, the plant is perfect, it has just green leaves.
You’re in charge of watering, if you don’t water, the plant will become dry and will die…
Water is the interest and the involvement in the relationship, if you show zero involvement and leave him doing all the work, the relationship (friendly or loving or whatever it is) will die, like the dry plant.

I mean… there normally is a balance in the questions he asks you and then your follow up question to him, no? Try to include questions to him that will help you get to know him better, otherwise he’s not sure what information you’d like to know about him (and yes, he might possibly start thinking you’re not interested in him if you NEVEE ask about him).

Ya, if you are not curious or giving him energy and learning more about him, then he’s not going to feel much of a connection. he's less likely to share as you don’t even wanna know about his life
