I've dated women of many different nationalities and races but never an Indian woman.

I've seen physically attractive Indian women, but I don't care for the culture so I probably wouldn't. There are people of every nationality who don't follow their customary cultural practices, so I'm sure there could be an attractive woman like that. But the culture turns me off so much that it's unlikely I would have an opportunity to meet someone like that.

Maybe I'm ignorant but most Indian women I've seen are much darker than that and have a different facial structure like bigger nose and such... but I know there are regional differences with how people look in India which I am not that acquainted with. The woman here looks almost west-Asian to me.

Well small nose is common among indian women. big nose is also common. I agree that most are darker than her. She come from community where light skin is common. I am even lighter than her.

That makes sense. Perhaps dark skinned lower-caste are more common as immigrants in western countries, so that's why I've seen them and think of them as "Indian." But in reality there are many kinds of Indians.

No you probably wouldn't have much trouble. I believe any racism towards Indians comes from poor behavior of lower castes, and westerners don't know the difference and think all Indians are like that. For example, Canada got a lot of Indian immigrants who would take food from food banks which were supposed to only be for truly poor and desperate people.

There are also more men in the US--particularly white men--who are interested in dating foreign women if they are more traditional.
