Ouch! Good question, because I feel it's right down the middle. Let's talk about mental weaknesses, not strengths, for a sec. When men aren't mentally strong, it manifests in it's own way, man-wise. When women aren't mentally strong, it also manifests in it's own way, woman-wise. & I've seen this mental weakness happen equally across the board. I can't play the "women get emotional" card because like I said above, in so many words, men can get emotional & lose mental focus/strength. If I absolutely had to choose one, thinking back on my life experiences & being exposed to different people, I'd say men are more mentally focused, but it's only by 1%. In my life experiences, I've seen women lose it just the tiniest bit more than men. The thing is, that's just my life experiences, though. Someone else could easily say one or the other is more mentally stronger by a landslide 🤷.

I strongly believe guys are mentally stronger. We deal with more shit in our lives and have to be the rock for women. We're more logical in general and stay more calm than women in high pressure situations.

There is a girl that transitioned into a guy and after living as a guy for a couple months, they thought it was unbearable and said they didn't understand how men dealt with that level of lonliness.

Just depends who you are as a person. Whether you are mentally stronger or not than other people... sometimes people are more mentally stronger than you. I don't think gender has anything to do with mental strength.

I'm in the military and I have met men who think I'm mentally stronger than them since it's not something they can see themselves doing something like that. And I've had times where I've met other people who are mentally stronger than me.

It isn't really based on gender. It's based on experience. There are things women are more equipped to handle than men (men fainting when observing childbirth comes to mind), and things men are more equipped to handle than women (Louis Zamperini comes to mind). But our experiences and how we face and evaluate situations in life determines our mental strength/emotional resilience, not our sex.

A girl i know well tends to get emotionally upset and goes into broken record mode. I tend to say 'We are not talking/thinking about that now'. It is what do.

I am emotionally stronger than her. Hard to generalize from that but I'd say the above is typical of males and females.

The amount of women who have their understandable mental health issues, especially body wise - and this isn't being disrespectful, I read a news paper just the other day talking about the surge locally and so on - not to say all genders don't have or can't have body image issues, esteem issues.

Keep in mind "results may vary" aka 'not every blonde' or not every "not every redhead is an anger freak" lol 😂😆
