While young the difference isn't so noticeable but once puberty hits it is when it really increases the gap.
The male body is built differently, muscles sit different and the hormones allow bigger and faster muscle gain. The man is naturally designed to become stronger with less effort. The body's center of balance also changes in men when hit puberty, the hips is better for balance but men it becomes the shoulders which is an advantage in many feats of strength.
A man who exercises as much as a woman will be bigger and stronger without some genetics coming into play where the woman comes from better stock. The male being weaker comes from poor genetics, lack of proper diet and exercise or chemical interference - could be classed as genetics if not self inflicted.
Testosterone is responsible for muscles and thus strength. Men have naturally larger production of testosterone. Hence any truly big female bodybuilder required supplements and any female who works out takes a lot longer to get bigger.
It is scientific not stereotype.

It depends on the individual. Men as a collective group are stronger than women but an individual woman can be stronger than an individual man. A 6'5, 250 lb powerhouse male is going to be stronger than the vast majority of women (though there still may be a few exception to the rule women even then) but a not very big, not that powerful guy like yourself (based on the way you described yourself and no offense at all to you), there are probably a decent amount of females that are almost as strong, equally as strong, or stronger. There is no shame in any of that. Not every man is physically strong, not every woman is physically weak.
I don't think we are that different. Pick up any men's and women's health magazine. On the woman's it says loose 15lbs on the men's it says gain 15lbs. Notice we both have to do opposite things in order to create seperation between us physically.
But I do think the difference is muscle development, men develope muscle a lot better than women do. And men try to develope muscle where as women shy away from it. So boys play sports and workout where as girls don't so it as much, so by the time we're adults they're a lot stronger than us.
Also we have different kinds of strength. They say women are typically Better rock climbers because we use our legs. Men try to use their arms. Women are squally lower body strength while women are upper body. So yeah he beat her in bench press, but can he beat her in squats? Because I myself know I have worlds weakest arms, but pretty fit legs.
depends on what the physical activity is. and what kind of shape the individuals are in. women and men have different metabolisms. women are more flexible and rate designed to go long distances with little food. they can make use of ket one bodies for energy in a way men can not. this is useful in times of famine ensuring the babies survival. i is also useful running long distances swimming long distances and surviving a famine ;p
men generally have shorter bulkier muscles good for short great bursts of energy.
however were women and men to have precisely the same physical training i not think there would be a tremendous difference all around. there would be individuals excelling differently at different things.
strength is not simply free but wisdom and knowing how to implement that force to the benefit of the task at hand.
Depends on both individuals. Average guys are generally stronger than average girls. "Average" of both being stressed here.
I am an exception, I've been super athletic my whole life and have been able to compete with guys in my age group through the collage level (in sports) (where I am at currently).
I can physically pin my current boyfriend in a wrestling match. Its not uncommon for me to be stronger than the "average" guy.
Now a guy who's super fit.. probably not so much... but lets be honest, most guys are not super fit.

Genetically guys are stronger than girls of the same weight. We naturally have more dense muscle mass. Whether you use it to it's full potential and develop more is your choice. That's why some girls are stronger than guys. They use what they have and work for it. But a guy with the same amount of effort will be stronger. That's just how it is. That's why all elite athletes in a strength based event is separated by gender. Guys are stronger. A girl "can" overcome a guy. But in terms of sports it's highly unlikely
Kind of.
If you were to take a man and a women, and from birth they did THE EXACT SAME things,
Same workouts,
Same movements
All that jazz,
Then the man would actually end up a bit stronger. This is due to evolution, traditionally, the men would be MANLY MEN, and would protect the family from harm.
So evolution made account for that.
I said 'kind of' because not everyone does the same thing. So individual people might be stronger than the opposite sex, regardless of whether or not your a man or a women. Please Please Please, Refrain from abuse and bad comments about this link at least one should respect teachings of Religions..
This Link gonna Clear the confusion in great and comprehensive way, so just take a look !
www.islamcan.com/.../...ing-and-equal-to-man.shtmlYour gender blind, literally, there are big differences between the sexes when it comes to physicality. Don't be so Damn PC or really just ignorant. So just google it dumb ass and you'll see what i mean, from the fact men's bones are denser and bigger so more muscle can attach to them, to the 10 times more testorone that allows muscles to heal quicker, to the fact that girls have more fat then guys do proportionally to their body mass. The simplest way is to think of it is like this take a 5'8 guy and girl with equal body weight and the man will have more muscle thus will be stronger, plus slightly bigger heart and lungs so he can go for longer. It's just fucking science (I mean really think of the difference between WNBA and NBA)
It depends on strength emotionally and physically. I know a woman who can out bench her husband. She is also on steroids. Lol Generally, a man has more strength then a woman. There are some cases that are proven different though:)
It's not a stereotype. It's how we where made, guys are bigger and stronger, because they needed to hunt, and protect their family. Women are smaller, because we took care of the home and the children. Guys in general, are much bigger, taller and broader then girls. That is how it was meant to be, and it serves a purpose.
Not sure why you used the word pathetic as I or no one I know has used that in context about women. I can pick up 3 petite woman and dead lift the back of a compact car and I don't know any women personally that can do that but I know there are some. Generally speaking men are physically stronger than women. You take 100 men and 100 women and randomly match them up in a fight, arm wrestling match, tug of war or weight lifting match and I am sure the majority of women would be overmatched,
Generally yes, because men have more musclemass than women. But that doesn't mean that there aren't women out there who are stronger than some men, it's just not as common :)
Men are naturally born stronger while women are more agile. Though as they grow older that can change and in the weird age we live in some women start to look like really freakish while others look pretty good. Same can be said about men.
I mean, physically usually they are. As a girl that isn't insulting to girls. Not all guys are stronger than girls.
Yes. Men are *generally* stronger.
Testosterone increases muscle mass while estrogen inhibits muscular development.Yeah, guys are stronger. I'm a small guy (105 pounds) and I don't work out, but I think I'm still stronger than the average girl, lol. :P
Typically yes, but I lift and I am stronger than a lot of guys ;)
A guy being stronger than a girl is what makes him manly...
I can curl more than what a good portion of the female population can even squat.
Does that answer your question? On a general, biological level - yes.
On an absolute, individual level - no.Yes/No. The differences within the sexes are more significant than the differences between them.
If you think genders are of equal strength, you are either delusional or you are trying to justify how weak YOU are.
Top male athletes beat out top female athletes in nearly everything. Still, even a trained male fighter would fall victim to someone like Ronda Rousey
Many girls who work out can be stronger than average guy.
