I have a friend (R) and she has a new friend (W) who's really not pleasant to be around. W alienates everyone she talks to. She seems bored, like she doesn't like you and doesn't care. But R likes her I don't know why exactly, they get along. She says W is misunderstood, but I'm by far not the only person who has had trouble with her. Last night I was already stressed cause I'm moving and I had a fight with my girlfriend and we decided to take a break. Then they decided to "roast" each other all night it was not even banter anymore just negativity and it wasn't stopping. And I got the feeling the unpleasant person W was just trying to push me out because she didn't like me and wanted the space for herself and R. And at one point I just left.

Then R got upset and said I hurt her soul and asked me why I'd just leave. I had to explain to her today all the things W did that gave me bad vibes and that was awkward. But R doesn't react well at all when you don't tell her what's up after a fight so I wrote her even though I was feeling all over the place. I don't know what's gonna happen now. I'm gonna move in 10 days so I won't have to see W again. I'm living in kind of a dorm thing but now I'm getting my own place. I still wanna hang out with R and go out and party because she's great to hang out with in those kind of situations but I don't wanna see W again. I think I read her 100% correctly. Later they tried to tell me oh it was all a misunderstanding and she tried to apologize. But she couldn't even keep the facade up for a few hours before she said forget it and went back to her true self.

Now I don't even fully know where me and R stand because we were supposed to go out tonight but I wasn't feeling that great after all this so I didn't ask. I don't know I'll try to fix things with her at some point but I think I won't go down to the first floor for a while.

My wife and I went out to lunch, in an area we rarely go to. I went to pay for parking at the machine, and, after going through it all, discovered that parking is free today.

Listened to the 17 year old asking for the car one second, then - being asked to run up the street with it & our money for them - get us drinks because we'd be without a vehicle once he borrowed it, being told:

"Why don't you guys go get them?"

My response?

"Looks like someone doesn't need the car after all."

He thinks I was being mean to him.

So I am left wondering when my wife and I entered the twilight zone.

Apparently, I don't know how to load a dishwasher, so I'm going back to hand washing. I put the shit in there, and it looks perfect. Then I hit the start button and a cyclone happens, and all the shit falls to the bottom. Are you supposed to use clothes pins or paper weights? I give up.
