Would you warn your friends/family NOT to date a red flag friend?

If you have a friend that's a good friend, but an awful boy/girlfriend, and they or your other family or friend had their eyes set on the other, would you warn them not to date them, of their many red flags, or their terrible history, of that time they got someone pregnant and left them, or that time they gave someone an STI (assuming that's not something your family/friend wanted in a relationship).

Yup. I've got a friend who's basically a clone of me but one difference that he's not good in a relationship and I would tell anyone to stay away from him in that.
And tell them a good example of why not.
Lying or omitting the truth helps no one if I know how it's going to end with them two breaking up and wasting time.

I have. My nephew is dating a woman right now that is very controlling. She comes to our family get-togethers and made the mistake of thinking she could control and order me around. I informed her I'm not my nephew, and that I see who she truly is. I've quietly, politely made my feelings known about this woman. I've said my peace. Now it's up to my nephew to wake up and see her for who she really is. He knows I always have his back. To do anything else would be me trying to live his life for him. And he's a grown man. Some mistakes some people have to learn the hard way.

If I care about the friend/family member I definitely would warn them, and if the friend has a problem with that, c-ya. There are consequences to their actions and if they’re mad I warn a loved one about said actions, they can take a hike. People with no integrity aren’t worth it.

I would let them know what kind of person his is. But you never know his feelings for someone else might be different, and actually could change if it's someone he actually cares about and not just wanting to get his pepe wet. But what goes around comes back around.

Just because you think something is a red flag does not mean that others will. Women these days can be very petty and nitpick
