Why is my boyfriend not paying attention to me anymore?

I’ve noticed the last few days since my boyfriend discovered a new phone game, he’s on it constantly and to the point of ignoring me.
I tried to show him a few funny vids to watch together because we used to enjoy doing that together and everytime I looked over at him he was back on that stupid phone game…

He’s assures me he still loves me and isn’t losing interest but I’m honestly beginning to not believe him 😔is there something I’m missing?

Do you have hobbies outside of him? If not, it would be a healthy addition to your life and relationship. It's normal for people to fluctuate how much we get wrapped up in our hobbies, but it's not normal for it to go on for weeks at a time. He also might potentially need some space and he doesn't know how to communicate it.

If you want to work things out, give him a little space, and see what he does with it. A healthy person will start to miss you and will want to have quality time to connect.

Honestly…. A little, he’s been kinda distant and seems to not care about my feelings anymore. I’ve had to cry alone a lot recently. Where as before, he would comfort me and just be there. Now he just gets up and does something else completely unbothered…

I know you mentioned having talked to him before about your feelings, but maybe it’s time to try at least one last time. Have a serious conversation about the state of your relationship and how you’re feeling, because it’s bigger than just these past few days or his new hobby.
Something you should always consider is that when you’re dealing with someone new, how they act months or years down the line may be vastly different from how they used to be because that version of them may not have been genuine. Like he may not actually be the guy who’s attentive and consoling when you’re crying but cosplaying that person worked in his favor.
