Why is my boyfriend being so attentive now?

This is gonna sound like a weird question but I'm really baffled by his sudden change in behaviour towards me. He literally has become so lovey dovey suddenly for no reason that I can think of. Normally he's moody and distant but now he's texting me all the time and asking what am I doing. He hasn't done this since the start when we first met. He seems happier. I don't get it. It's like he's reverted back to the guy he was when we first met. Any ideas?

Honestly there are a few things that could be going on: he is seeing a therapist and on new medication, he has received some attention from another and does not realize he is smitten and you are receiving the benefits, he is covering up for cheating on you physically or emotionally, he has a brain tumor, or something has made him realize like a near death experience that he truly loves you and he is expressing that love. Those are my options.

I’d be suspicious too... probably 1 of 2 things. 1 he’s fucked up and doesn’t want you to find out.. or 2 he’s trying harder for you... I’d ask him! Be like I’ve noticed you’ve been in a great mood lately.. any reason? Or you could do a check up on his phone.. but I wouldn’t look too much into it, maybe he’s just happy ☺️

So like he cheated? But the thing is how would him being extra nice make me not find out! It's actually making me more suspicious. I jokes to him oh your being really nice all of a sudden and he said you asked me to be nice to you so I am. But I've been asking him to be nicer to me for the past 2 months and now all of a sudden he decides to do it! Weird 😂

It's unlike him recently. At the start when we first met he was like this. He's more affectionate with me and now has time to text loads when he didn't before. I'm kind of worried!
