What was your most memorable first date?

It was the only one and official one I had. Its been 2 years ago, immediately after covid and a little before Ukrainian war… when the world was starting to change and people was starting to go out from their shells formed during quarantine.
It has been memorable for me because of the moment, since I started a journey of renovation, I deduced, after a long time, to try dating and I found someone to date. From that day I lose weight, started doing sports…


I remember I was so so nervous, I had to travel 60 km to meet her (around 1 hour and half trip) and I went very fast so it took me only 40 minutes and I had to wait for her.

We simply had a walk, ate outside, sat along a river and talked a bit, discovering what we had in common. Nothing special but I remember I was literally suffocating by high pressure I had.


Oh, the date ended up badly, since we met other times but after that we took different paths.

my first date with my future wife, she was a walking dream that captured my heart the very first time I saw her. We've been together for fifty years!

My first day out with my (then) fiancee at one of his brother's weddings. Our first dance and first time holding hands in public. At the time I was so young I was floating on cloud 9.

A day out by the ocean for a celebration filled with romantic lights, music, food carts... He was a bad, BAD dancer, but he tried just for me... So goofy and sweet. We laughed and danced all night.

Super cheesy but unforgettable moments.

The night before our first date, there was a MASSIVE thunderstorm. It knocked out power for a huge chunk of the city AND surrounding areas.

We went to Mass the next morning and then went for coffee and bagels. The place I wanted to go was closed because it didn't have power. So we went to another coffee shop. THAT one was closed because it didn't have any power. So we went to a Denny's. It was crowded, smelled disgusting, and was in a questionable part of town. But we finally found a coffee shop in the city market.
