Guys, He texts/calls everyday but still hasn’t asked me out?

I met this guy on a dating app, we messaged on the app for a bit and then exchanged numbers. It’s been a week and he has texted me everyday since then. We have had multiple hours long conversations during that week where he asks me all these hypothetical questions. But he hasn’t asked me out yet. When I jokingly called him out on it he said that he’s waiting for the right moment and that it’ll be soon. Is he really interested or is he just stringing me along?
