Did he only ask for my number for fun?

So, the other night at around 11, i was driving and these two dudes on motorcycles were in the lane next to me, we were driving the same speed, next to eachother for a while. I see that one of them is trying to get my attention and he had been for a while, i look over and he gives a look of "finially" and he waves at me and smiles. I wave back and he takes out his phone, so i thought he wanted my snapchat, so i take out my phone and show him my snapchat, but that's not what he wanted, we get to a red light and he's next to me, and hands my his phone, so i typed in my phone number really fast in the dial screen. The light turns green and a car honks at me so i leave and didn't get the chance to save it in his phone. It's been a day and no text. I'm worried i typed in my phone number wrong, or it got lost because i didn't save it as a contact. Or what if he just did it for fun and he was never actually planning on texting me? It was dark so i don't know, maybe after he got a closer look at me he decided not to text me, or he saw my car was a mess? After i gave him my number he did a wheelie and looked happy, but it was kinda an awkward interaction on my end lol, i didn't say a single word. there's a chance he thinks i wasn't interested. What do you guys think?
