Whats a "player" to you?

What would you say makes someone a "player"? What are your criteria? If one went to social gatherings every week specifically to meet people especially women would that make them a "player" to you?

It's someone who isn't serious about any one person or thing in his/her life. Someone who tries (but doesn't always succeed) at juggling the attention and interest of multiple people at once. In vernacular terms, "a trifling s. o. b." (Society typically refers to a player as a guy, however unfortunately there are women who fit the description as well...)

nteresting you say its girls too because I've thought and seen the same thing at events. Are their differences is how women do it in mannerisms or vocabulary. I can pretty quickly tell but what are some signs of a female player I might not know or pick up on?

I don't think it's a thing anymore. Every guy these days is trying (trying) to meet women and be flakes. I think most guys feel entitled to a "player era," and then they want to settle down after that. But it just doesn't happen for them years later, and so they settle down late, and then they try to date someone a lot younger than them. And then that doesn't work and you have the "male loneliness pandemic." If you're realistic, you go places.

So yeah, I see you're saying go for it. I would think if you wanted to meet people you would go out and meet them. Wondered how this was received thanks. It is odd to my experience to begin to see so many age gaps. Two of my closest childhood friends (a guy and a girl respectively ) married people 10 years older than them.
