What are the signs, behaviors?

I just got accused of being one and my reaction to it was of course, WTF?

"He is funny, He smiles a lot, He has a chiseled jawline with dimples, His body language tells me he has a bad boy vibe...blah blah blah"- Words of the group of females that accused me of being a "player".

Seriously wtf? I don't care about reputation but this is cockblocking to me and I hate it when people do it.

One thing, I thought the age limit of player status ended before the age of 45 and up :p but anywho, I don't think there's a set 'thing' or particular action you can tell by a guy being a player besides the obvious, him sleeping with multiple women, having a lot of female friends( which I think can sometimes be an exception). But in all honesty, I can't really pinpoint a player right off the bat. Apparently, one of my guy friends I used to like would always, I MEAN ALWAYS, point out hot girls and tell me how attractive they are and all this bs and me being naive, took it for him trying to make me jealous, all in all, told my friends and they immediately told me that was a sign of a player. I guess someone who goes after a bunch of other chicks. So who knows, maybe you have that slick talk, of all the right things to say or maybe you're just being yourself and these girls are complete idiots, who knows :p

The major hint of a guy being a player is if he has a lot of confidence AND he's flirty with many girls (usually pretty girls) There's a fine line between being flirty and friendly but those guys are just lain flirty, meaning they make sexual innuendos, touch girls in inappropriate places sometimes because they're rather touchy feely people, hit on them and make them laugh and invade people's personal space quite easily.  And the thing is they love this, they love basking into girls' attention and though they act like it's all natural you can tell they're doing this on purpose. This is the major hint at a guy being a player.

I think a player is a guy who doesn't care about the feelings girls have. He just tricks them into believing he's into them and when he had his fun, he's up to the next girl who'll believe him. Unfortunately, some of them are quite convincing ^^

But really, the description those girls give is not what a player is. Good guys can be funny too, good guys smile a lot as well, and what does it have to do with your jawline?

To me that's just crazy talk.

Girls that only fell for players will recognize a pattern because that's what our subconscious does beautifully, it recognizes patterns. What happens is jerks/players have confidence and certain body language (people have heard this before but don't nearly take this enough into consideration as they should be). So I'd bet you just looked confident and not needy enough, they read you wrong (associating your body language from a past event). But you're better without, it's their loss. Peace, best of luck.

A player is a guy that seems to only want p****.

But a real player hides that and he is very good seducing women though, they are perfect actors. They may seem like the perfect guy, says the right words and once they do whatever they want with the girl, they change and tell her "sorry I don't think this is going to work between us" and leave.

on the contrary, I personally think a guy is a player when he flirts with other women in front of a particular girl, he is always around a lot of women, has many female friends, some of which he has sexual conversations with or just flirty in general, he will check other women out, stare them up and down, he just has a wandering eye, he is always on his phone click click click texting away secretly, he walks out of the room when he needs to talk on the phone because its that confidential and private, he rates women- 'oh she's pretty! oh she's cute! omg she's so cute! omg she's ugly eww!' he has high standards and wants a perfect woman, he's arrogant and cocky, and rude disrespectful thinks if he's a jerk to a girl she will fall in love with him, so false!

But my definition of a guy player is a guy who hits one more than one girl! Such as, acts like he has no girlfriend when that girl knows he already has one yet, he hits up flirting with another girl to make the other one jealous! A player also touches girls in inapporiate spots! Also, he uses words to make a girl seem like they are in a relationship, but then dumps her in front of his "girlfriend" that he pretented he didn't have! Hopes this helps! :)

someone who hits on multiple girls, flirts with multiple girls, is seen always around lots of girls flirting with them... one who doesn't just focus on liking one girl, but focusses on getting any girl that's in front of him... other girls see this because they may have been curious but they know he's going for more than just her and they sort of label him as a player in a way that they know they should stay away
