Men shouldn't sympathize with women's failure in dating do you agree?

The best analogy which compares male and female dating experience is that men are searching for a clean glass of water in a desert, while women are doing the same in a swamp. But doing this in a swamp is far easier than a desert. You can find clean water in rain, plant sap, roots, etc. Even if you drink dirty water you're not going to die immediately. So where's the comparison in difficulty or lethality here?

Women especially young beautiful women are in an abundance of attention and choice. It's a filtering process for them. Even average women have more choice than the average man. This asymmetry of choice is made even more pronounced with social media and dating apps. So even after all the advantage if women choose poorly and ignore red flags, then I think that men should not sympathize. Most men on the other hand have to make do with what they can get and relative inexperience so arguably should be more prone to mistakes.

An asymmetry in difficulty doesn't mean we shouldn't sympathize with other people's issues. Just because one person's problems might suck worse than most doesn't mean they should ignore the suffering of others. If you just got fired from your job and someone else trips and falls in front of you, why shouldn't you help them up?

Instead of looking for clean water in a desert and a swamp, I think a better analogy is that men are dying of thirst, while women are drowning. Men and women always think they have it worse than the other, that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to help each other when we can.

Nah thats a stupid comparsion, everyone has their own troubles.
Its like saying your depression or struggles doesn't count bec you life in a first world country and others have it much worse than you in the world for example.

A lot of people are narcissists and want attention for themselves but obviously they think they’re above everyone else.

There is good men and good women. But you have to know where to look. There is sources of water in deserts as well.

A man should ALWAYS be on his guard when it comes to women. The narrative is that women are in a swamp. But the REALITY is most of the woman ARE the SWAMP. Most women would have you believe that they can't find good men. But the REALITY is most women aren't even looking for good men. Men need to treat dating like walking through a minefield.
